Penerapan Problem Solving Management Framework Pada Software Remote Trading

Problem Solving Management Framework is a new framework which is proposed to be used as a tool or best practice for solving problems in IT project. In an IT project, although it has been using some best practices for project planning management, sometimes there are a lot of things that are missed from the previous planning; thus, making another problem that can delay or ruin the project time line. The problems can be technical, communication, stakeholders relationship, management conflict both from developer side or client side, strategic implementation, troubleshooting in maintenance/production period, availability of project resourses, or others. This framework has six modules based from some knowledge area in PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge)-PMI and also as a best practice of project management. The modules are: Issue Management, Quality Management, Risk Management, Procurement Management, Time Management, and Changes Management. One of many characteristics of IT project, the progressive elaboration is always changing in strategies, tactics, and plans. Then, as a global definition, problem solving management framework is an additional tool on project management which is used by the project team who has responsibility as a problem solver for solving problems that are never planned or missed from previous plan, which is caused by the progressive elaboration characteristic.
