As higher education individuals, it is an obligation to contribute to society through Community Service activities (PkM). Last Friday (27/9), the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia, represented by Mr. Ade Arifandi, SE., MM, and Mr. Ongky Alex Sander, SE., MM, assisted by two students, Muhammad Azizi (12220153) and Andrian (12220098), conducted a PkM activity for 15 children fostered by the Yayasan Taruna Pertiwi, South Jakarta. This foundation is a social organization that houses abandoned children, street performers, and others for guidance, one of which is business training.
With the business model “Gerobakan” already owned by this foundation, it is hoped that this business will continue to grow over the long term. However, the main issue is that this foundation lacks the ability and experience to start a business. Therefore, the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia carried out this activity with the program “Tips for Managing Business Operations Simply.” This program provided basic understanding about business operations and conducted practices in managing a business, so that it could give the participants direct experience and improve their skills in managing a business.
The activity went smoothly with high enthusiasm from the participants, who actively asked questions and engaged in a two-way discussion between the lecturers and participants. Finally, the PkM ended at 12:00 and concluded with a group photo.
