Serpong, February 11th, 2025 – The Excellent Community of Management (XCM) UBM Serpong Campus successfully organized an Industrial Visit to PT. Bright Mobile Telecommunication under the theme “Driving Innovation: OPPO’s Business Strategies in the Competitive Smartphone Industry.” The event took place at the OPPO Indonesia factory in Periuk Jaya and was attended by 49 students, 7 committee members, and accompanied by Ms. Christy Ayu Sarah Panjaitan, S.E., M.M. as lecturer of Management Study Program UBM. Also present Ms. Yulia Ivyela Giroth, Event Planner at PT. Bright Mobile Telecommunication.
The students departed for the factory at 12 AM and arrived at 1 PM. The visit began with a safety induction session, where participants received a briefing on workplace safety protocols. Afterward, they were instructed to wear shoe covers and were divided into two groups to participate in the OPPO Factory Tour. During the tour, guides provided detailed explanations of the OPPO smartphone production process, including installation, testing, packaging, and the aging process. Additionally, participants gained insights into key milestones, corporate culture, and OPPO’s global performance. The tour concluded with a group photo session as a memento of the visit.
The event continued with a presentation by Mr. Rizqi Hasan, S.T.P., from the Manufacturing Business Department of PT. Bright Mobile Telecommunication. He covered several key topics, including Company Profile, OPPO 4.0 Transformation Journey, Strategic Plan, Use Cases, Transformation Results, and Talent Empowerment. Mr. Rizqi also elaborated on OPPO’s strategic plans for 2025-2027, which emphasize the Flexible & Agile Strategy a framework designed to enhance adaptability to market changes and demands. This strategy is implemented under the slogan “Create MORE with LESS”, promoting greater flexibility and agility in innovation. The presentation concluded with a Token of Appreciation presented by Ms. Christy Ayu Sarah Panjaitan, S.E., M.M., to Mr. Rizqi Hasan, S.T.P., in recognition of his valuable insights.
As part of the hands-on experience, the event concluded with an OPPO smartphone assembly session, where six student representatives participated in assembling mobile phones. This activity allowed participants to gain practical knowledge of the assembly process and a deeper understanding of OPPO’s smartphone components.
Overall, the Industrial Visit was successfully conducted, providing students with valuable insights into the industry, business strategies, and innovation within a leading global company like OPPO. It is hoped that this experience will serve as a valuable asset for students as they prepare to enter the professional world.
