Serpong, 25 Maret 2025 – Himpunan Mahasiswa Desain Komunikasi Visual (HIMA DKV) Universitas Bunda Mulia Serpong mengangkat seminar bertajuk Portfolio Academy: The Art of a Game-changing Portfolio. Acara ini berlangsung pada Selasa, 25 Maret 2025, di Kampus Serpong dan dihadiri oleh 119 mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi.
Seminar ini mengundang Andre Surya, founder dari studio Enspire dan Esda, seorang praktisi profesional di bidang industri game yang memberikan wawasan dan informasi bermanfaat seputar portofolio dan peluang di industri kreatif. Dalam pemaparannya, pembicara menunjukkan berbagai contoh konkret portofolio efektif yang dapat menarik perhatian perusahaan, sekaligus menjabarkan elemen-elemen krusial dalam membentuk portofolio yang kuat. Selain itu, pembicara juga menjelaskan secara rinci langkah-langkah yang dapat dilakukan para mahasiswa untuk membangun portofolio serupa di masa depan, mulai dari pemilihan karya, penyusunan struktur serta presentasi yang sesuai dengan standar industri.
Antusiasme peserta dapat terlihat sepanjang seminar, terutama saat pembicara membahas mengenai tren industri kreatif, termasuk peran kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam membuka peluang baru, khususnya di bidang industri game. Tidak hanya itu, pembicara juga memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana AI dapat diintegrasikan dalam pengembangan portofolio serta pentingnya mengikuti perkembangan industri agar tetap relevan. Interaksi antara pembicara dan peserta pun berlangsung secara efektif, terutama dalam sesi tanya jawab, banyak mahasiswa yang mengajukan berbagai pertanyaan seputar strategi membangun portofolio yang menarik, adaptasi terhadap perubahan industri, serta peluang karir di industri kreatif. Pembicara menanggapi pertanyaan-pertanyaan tersebut dengan memberikan jawaban yang aplikatif, berbagi pengalaman serta wawasan praktis yang dapat diterapkan langsung oleh mahasiswa dalam perjalanan profesional mereka.
Program Studi Desain Komunikasi Visual Universitas Bunda Mulia berharap bahwa wawasan dan pemahaman yang diperoleh dari seminar Portfolio Academy: The Art of a Game-changing Portfolio dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam membangun portofolio yang kuat. Mahasiswa diharapkan dapat mengaplikasikan ilmu yang diperoleh untuk mempersiapkan diri menghadapi dunia kerja serta mempersiapkan diri mereka untuk bersaing di industri kreatif yang kompetitif.

Serpong, March 25, 2025 – The Visual Communication Design Student Association (HIMA DKV) of Bunda Mulia University Serpong held a seminar entitled Portfolio Academy: The Art of a Game-changing Portfolio. This event took place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Serpong Campus and was attended by 119 students from various study programs.
This seminar invited Andre Surya, founder of Enspire studio and Esda, a professional practitioner in the game industry who provided useful insights and information about portfolios and opportunities in the creative industry. In his presentation, the speaker showed various examples of effective concrete portfolios that can attract the attention of companies, while also outlining the crucial elements in forming a strong portfolio. In addition, the speaker also explained in detail the steps that students can take to build a similar portfolio in the future, starting from selecting works, compiling structures and presentations that are in accordance with industry standards.
The enthusiasm of the participants could be seen throughout the seminar, especially when the speaker discussed trends in the creative industry, including the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in opening up new opportunities, especially in the game industry. Not only that, the speakers also provided insights on how AI can be integrated into the development portfolio and the importance of keeping up with industry developments to stay relevant. The interaction between the speakers and participants was effective, especially in the question and answer session, many students asked various questions about strategies for building an attractive portfolio, adapting to industry changes, and career opportunities in the creative industry. The speakers answered these questions by providing applicable answers, sharing experiences and practical insights that can be applied directly by students in their professional journey. The Visual Communication Design Study Program of Bunda Mulia University hopes that the insights and understanding gained from the Portfolio Academy seminar: The Art of a Game-changing Portfolio can help students build a strong portfolio. Students are expected to be able to apply the knowledge gained to prepare themselves for the world of work and prepare themselves to compete in the competitive creative industry.
