On Thursday, October 3, 2024, the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program of Bunda Mulia University held an Industrial Visit activity to the North Jakarta Mayor’s Office. The activity, which took place from 07.30 – 13.30, was attended by 9 5th semester Hospitality & Tourism students of Bunda Mulia University who were accompanied by Sir Vishnuvardhana S. Soeprapto B.A., M.A.
In order to support sustainable tourism, the Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-Department of North Jakarta Administrative City introduced destinations that carry the concept of green tourism. This activity has 4 main dimensions, namely nature base, conservation support, sustainability, and education. The Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-Department introduced the PIK Mangrove TWA and Kemayoran City Forest as tourist destinations in North Jakarta by providing facilities in the form of tour buses, tour guides, access, souvenirs, and closed with a luncheon at the El Royale Hotel Jakarta.
With this activity, it is hoped that students will gain direct knowledge about sustainable tourism in North Jakarta which is supported by the Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-Department of the North Jakarta Administrative City.
