At Universitas Bunda Mulia, the English Language Study Program has been established since August 2, 2007, in accordance with the Higher Education Establishment Decree No. 4121/D/T/K-III/2009. The learning process encompasses the study, application, and development of various aspects of the English language.
Students are taught English language skills both orally and in writing through courses related to listening, speaking, reading, writing, as well as vocabulary and grammar. However, it doesn’t stop there; the curriculum is also supported by knowledge in linguistics, literature, culture, translation and interpreting, teaching, and digital communication, preparing students to become graduates with diverse competencies ready to work in the professional world.

The English Language Study Program supports the implementation of MBKM by providing options for certified internships and independent study.
The curriculum offered is flexible, presenting a variety of elective courses, allowing students to freely choose courses according to their interests and career paths. The courses studied are also relevant to the developments of the times, scientific knowledge, and industry.
Job opportunities are wide open for graduates of the Bachelor of English program at UBM, as they possess varied competencies that align with industry needs. UBM graduates have been proven to find employment easily and possess skills recognized by the industry.

Graduates of the English Language Study Program are proven to be capable of working and adapting to the ever-changing, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous developments in the industrial world.
The English Language Study Program Student Association is called ‘ACES – Accomplished Community of English Speakers.’ Since its establishment, the student organization has served as a platform for students to engage in various organizational activities and develop their leadership skills.
Activities of the English Language Student Association include industrial visits, national seminars, competitions, and many more.
