Jakarta, March 7, 2025 – Sotthi Hotu, Namo Buddhaya, Namo Amituofo. The Buddhist Spiritual Activity Unit, KMB Dhammamitta of Universitas Bunda Mulia, successfully held a fellowship event known as Mitta Day on Saturday and Sunday, February 15–16, 2025. This year’s event carried the theme “Be the Team and Together Make the Dream!” and took place at Villa Rudian Hotel, Puncak, Bogor. A total of 90 participants attended, including Dhamma Workers, members of KMB Dhammamitta from both the Ancol and Serpong campuses, as well as the organization’s board members and alumni. The theme emphasized the importance of each individual within the organization in building a solid team dynamic, uniting visions, and working together to achieve shared dreams and become an outstanding team.
On the first day, participants gathered at designated meeting points before traveling together to the event venue. The event commenced with a group chanting session, followed by a Dhammadesana (Dhamma talk) delivered online via Google Meet by the KMB Dhammamitta’s guiding Sangha, Y.M. Bhiksu Bhadra Pala Mahasthavira. The activities continued with a discussion session where participants prepared and performed their group chants, water games, station-based challenges, and concluded with a secret admirer session, in which the committee read letters written anonymously by participants in front of the entire audience.
The second day began with a morning exercise session to boost participants’ energy, followed by outdoor games such as Meet the Kalyanamitta, Blindfolded Dragon, Think, and Play & Solve. Afterward, participants enjoyed breakfast and prepared for the next sessions. The day’s agenda continued with a morning chanting session, a screening of a one-day edited video along with bloopers, and concluded with a group photo session.
KMB Dhammamitta hopes that this event provided a supportive space for spiritual growth, strengthened friendships, and offered new insights through the various activities conducted. As the event came to a close, the entire board of KMB Dhammamitta expressed their sincere gratitude for the support and collaboration that contributed to the event’s smooth and successful execution.
Sabbe Satta Bhavantu Sukhitatta. May all beings be happy. Sadhu… Sadhu… Sadhu… Sotthi Hotu, Namo Buddhaya, Namo Amituofo.
