Universitas Bunda Mulia, through the Digital Business Study Program, in collaboration with the Digital Business Student Association (EXODUS), successfully carried out a Community Service Program (PKM) at PT MECOSIN INDONESIA. This activity aimed to provide practical guidance to the company in building and enhancing its brand presence online. With the theme “How to Establish Brand Presence Online,” the PKM focused on leveraging social media and digital marketing strategies to strengthen brand visibility and consumer relationships.
The PKM activity was held in three sessions on January 17, February 7, and February 21, 2025, at the PT MECOSIN INDONESIA office in South Jakarta. Faculty members and students from the Digital Business Study Program delivered hands-on training to MECOSIN’s marketing and creative teams on effective digital marketing techniques. In interactive sessions, participants learned how to use social media, analyze consumer data, and create high-quality content to boost their brand presence online. The faculty involved in this activity were Agung Stefanus Kembau, MBA, CPM (Project Leader), Julia Loisa, S.Kom., MM, and Hendro Lim, S.E., M.Sc.
This activity is also an implementation of the BDB08-Digital Marketing course, which is part of the mandatory curriculum at the Digital Business Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia. Through this PKM, students not only gain theoretical knowledge of digital marketing but also hands-on experience that can be directly applied in the industry. This initiative strengthens the connection between academia and industry, providing tangible benefits for both parties.
Universitas Bunda Mulia hopes that this PKM activity can serve as a platform for continued collaboration with various companies, accelerating the process of digital economy transformation, and enhancing the role of higher education in community empowerment. The success of this activity demonstrates that community service is a concrete form of academic contribution in supporting industry and society development, particularly in addressing the challenges of the growing digital economy.
