To support final-year students taking the Thesis course, the Management Study Program at the UBM Serpong Campus regularly conducts training sessions on data processing applications using Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS). In the Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year, the data processing training using the Smart PLS application was held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, while the EViews training was conducted on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
The SmartPLS application training session was led by Mr. Nicholas Wilson, SE., MM., and attended by 32 students in Room 502, Alfa Tower. The session started at 1.30 PM and ended at 4.30 PM, beginning with initial attendance registration and an opening presentation by the speaker. This was followed by a hands-on practice session, where students actively engaged with the material. Throughout the training, students listened attentively and participated actively by asking questions related to their individual research objectives and how the application could be utilized effectively.
Meanwhile, the EViews application training was conducted by Mr. I Gusti Agung Musa Budidarma, SE., M. Acc. Fin., PhD. and attended by 8 students in Lab 1, Alfa Tower. The training started at 5.45 PM and concluded at 8.45 PM, beginning with an introduction by Mr. Musa, followed by a discussion-based approach to data processing. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to engage and participate actively in discussions, enhancing their understanding of EViews data processing techniques.
Overall, both training sessions ran smoothly and successfully, concluding with attendance verification and feedback collection from participants
