On Thursday, 8 October 2020, HIMA (Student Association) of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program held an online-based seminar (Webinar) entitled “Food Safety for Food and Beverages in the New Normal Period” with the resource person Bpk. Hendi Gharnida as Quality Assurance Manager. This online seminar was attended by more than 300 participants with Mr. Imam Ardiansyah, SST. Par., MM.Par as Coordinator of the Insdustrial Placement of Bunda Mulia University. This event discussed about Security in the “New Normal” period carried out in the Food and Beverages industry. Mr. Hendi Gharnida explained about what protocols were carried out in the Food and Beverages sector during the New Normal period, what were the impacts faced during the PSBB period, (Large Scale Social Restrictions), and how to increase the quantity and quality of food during the New Normal period. Not only explaining the material that was distributed, the resource persons also gave a question and answer session, and gave good and inspiring answers to the questions given by the participants.
