Guest Lecture on “Data Warehouse & Data Mining” Enhances Information Systems Students’ Competency in the Digital Era

Jakarta, March 22, 2025 – The Information Systems Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia successfully held a guest lecture titled “Data Warehouse & Data Mining” on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Alpha Lab, UBM Tower, 10th Floor. The session featured Wahyudin Langnegara, Vice President of Financial, Resources, and Cross Industry Solutions at Lintasarta, who delivered an in-depth presentation on the importance of data integration and analysis in today’s business environment.

This guest lecture was designed to enhance students’ understanding—particularly those in class 4PSI51, enrolled in the SIE02 – Data Warehouse & Data Mining course—on fundamental concepts, architecture, and strategic benefits of Data Warehouse and Data Mining technologies. Through real-world insights from an industry expert, participants gained valuable knowledge on how these technologies support effective and efficient decision-making.

The session was conducted interactively over four hours, fostering a conducive environment for discussion and engagement. Based on participant feedback, the event received an average satisfaction score of 3.61 out of 4, indicating a high level of approval. The highest-rated aspects were the speaker’s subject mastery and ability to create an engaging learning atmosphere (3.69). Participants also suggested extending the session duration and incorporating hands-on practice for a deeper technical understanding.
