The Bangkit Program—the development of student competencies for a career in technology designed through a partnership between the Director General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Google, Gojek, Tokopedia, Traveloka, and university partners this year is offered through the Merdeka Campus. This year, in addition to the machine learning curriculum, Bangkit will offer two other learning topics to prepare students for a career in technology, namely programming with Android development and Cloud basics with a focus on Google Cloud Platform. In each learning path, participants will also learn about important skills that are useful for developing their future careers, such as design thinking, leadership, communication, entrepreneurship and presentation skills.
Student of Hospitality and Tourism Study Program, Bunda Mulia University Ancol Campus, Eric Julianto participated in the Independent Study Program Bangkit Merdeka Activities Learning Merdeka Campus Batch 2 for 1 semester participating in this activity at PT Presentologics by studying Machine Learning in the Bangkit Program which is one of the Merdeka Campus learning models designed through the collaboration of Google as a global technology player, domestic unicorn and decacorn with universities.
The hope of this Independent Study Program is that the Bangkit Program as a form of independent study is a digital technology-based training program for students in responding to the challenges of the industrial world, such as competencies in the form of hard skills and soft skills, opportunities to apply their knowledge to society, opportunities to interact with industry practitioners, conversion credits up to 20 credits, as well as obtaining transcripts and certificates.
