The Community Service Activity of the Digital Business Department with the theme “From Idea to Business: Yes, You Can!” at SMA & SMK SANTO LEO
On Thursday, October 24, 2024, Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) organized a community service activity with the theme From Idea to Business: Yes, You Can! for the students of SMA & SMK SANTO LEO. The event took place at the UBM Ancol campus from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and was attended by 20 students.
The activity featured Mr. Julius Sutrisno as the main speaker, who provided insights and motivation on transforming ideas into real business opportunities. During the session, Mr. Julius was supported by UBM students who assisted in the execution of the event.
The program consisted of two main sessions:
- Material Presentation
In this session, Mr. Julius explained practical steps for identifying business ideas, evaluating market opportunities, and starting an entrepreneurial journey. Students were inspired to embrace creativity and innovation in the business world. - Group Discussion and Presentation
Following the material presentation, students were divided into several groups to discuss business ideas tailored to their interests and potential. Each group then presented their discussion results to the speaker and other participants.
The discussion session was designed to develop critical thinking, teamwork, and effective idea communication skills. With guidance from UBM students, participants received constructive feedback to refine their ideas further.
The event ran smoothly and received positive responses from the participants, who felt motivated and confident to start turning their creative ideas into real business opportunities.
