Tangerang, March 14, 2025 – The Information Systems Student Association (HIMSI) of UBM Serpong held a Community Service Program (PKM) themed “Exploring UI/UX: Merging Creativity and Technology in Mobile Interface Design” at Candle Tree School. The program targeted 12th-grade high school students and was conducted over three in-person sessions at the school. The materials covered an introduction to UI/UX, using Figma, and hands-on practice in designing a simple mobile app. This activity aimed to highlight the importance of user interface and user experience in mobile app development. Students showed great enthusiasm, reflected in an average feedback score above 4.0, with the highest rating for transparency (4.5). While the sessions were well received, participants suggested making the materials more engaging and including advanced topics such as coding and AI. This initiative reaffirms HIMSI’s commitment to supporting students’ digital literacy.
