The Table Manner activity is an industrial visit that must be attended by active first-semester students of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia. The Hospitality and Tourism Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia Serpong Campus has just conducted an industrial visit activity on table manners themed “A Guide to Impress,” held on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM WIB at Hotel Tentrem Jakarta, Jl. Alam Sutera Boulevard No.11, South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. This event was attended by 138 (one hundred thirty-eight) students and 6 (six) lecturers from the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia Serpong Campus.
This event began with welcoming remarks from Mr. Alan Muhammad Yuslan, the General Manager of Hotel Tentrem Jakarta, a welcoming speech from Ms. Patricia Robin, the Head of Academic 1 A Serpong Campus, and a session on Dining Etiquette. There was a menu of dishes served, namely Assorted Bread Rolls, Appetizer (Caesar Salad), Soup (Spiced Pumpkin Cream Soup), Main Course (Seared Organic Chicken), and Dessert (Classic Cheesecake). The purpose of this activity is not only to learn about table manners but also to study Food Product Knowledge regarding Menu Portion and Beverage Knowledge.
