On March 22, 2025, the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia, Serpong Campus, held a general lecture titled “Technological Innovation in the Financial Services Industry.” The event took place at M1, 12th Floor, UBM Tower, from 1:30 PM to 5:10 PM WIB. A total of 49 participants attended, consisting of students enrolled in the Financial Technology and Digital Banking (MNF14) course as well as other students. The keynote speaker for this general lecture was Mr. Djoko N. Anindito, Vice President of Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, and Corporate Secretary at Asuransi Astra. The session was moderated by Dr. Ika Pratiwi Simbolon, S.E., M.M, who also serves as the Secretary of the Management Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia. The event was opened by Yorisa, a second-semester student who acted as the Master of Ceremony (MC). It commenced with the singing of Indonesia Raya and Mars Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM), followed by a welcoming speech from Dr. Ika Pratiwi Simbolon, S.E., M.M. The MC then introduced the moderator, who subsequently introduced the keynote speaker to the participants.
This general lecture covered various topics, including technological innovation within the financial ecosystem, cybersecurity and risk management, as well as sustainable finance. The financial industry itself is divided into banking, capital markets, and non-bank financial institutions. The keynote speaker explained the concept of the financial ecosystem and the objectives of technological innovation. Internally, innovation aims to enhance process efficiency, transaction security, data integration, and protection. Externally, innovation seeks to improve accessibility, drive product and service innovation, and increase transparency. Furthermore, the speaker addressed various challenges and risks associated with technological advancements and strategies to mitigate potential risks.
The material presented was well received by participants and stimulated enthusiasm, as evidenced by the active engagement during the Q&A session. Participants eagerly asked questions, and the keynote speaker provided detailed yet easily understandable answers. The moderator effectively guided the discussion, ensuring a structured and informative session. As a token of appreciation, Dr. Ika Pratiwi Simbolon, S.E., M.M., presented a Token of Appreciation to the keynote speaker, while Mr. Ali Wardhana, S.E., MBA., CSA., awarded a Token of Appreciation to the moderator for their valuable contributions to the event. The event concluded with a group photo session, and the MC expressed gratitude to all attendees for their participation.
The general lecture “Technological Innovation in the Financial Services Industry” was successfully conducted, with evident enthusiasm from participants throughout the event.
