Jakarta, January 2025 – The Information Systems and Informatics Study Programs at Universitas Bunda Mulia successfully conducted the CISDE (Certified Information System Data Engineering) and CISDV (Certified Information System Data Visualization) competency certifications for the odd semester of 2024/2025. This program aims to provide students, especially those currently undertaking their thesis courses, with industry-relevant certifications that validate their expertise in data engineering and data visualization—key skills highly demanded in today’s digital era
The certification sessions spanned three days—November 23, 2024, December 1, 2024, and January 11, 2025—and were held in the Gamma Lab and related classrooms. The event featured a team of mentors from Data Academy as the primary instructors. Targeted at active students from the Information Systems and Informatics programs, the certification was designed to equip participants with practical skills and knowledge directly applicable to the professional world.
Participant Achievements and Evaluation Results
The CISDV certification was attended by 45 participants, with 28 (62.22%) successfully passing and achieving an average score of 74.35. Meanwhile, the CISDE certification had 37 participants, with 31 (83.78%) declared successful and an average score of 75.23. These results indicate that the majority of participants met the established competency standards.
Based on participant feedback, the program was rated successful, with an average satisfaction score of 3.67 out of 4. The highest score was given to the “relevance of materials to the objectives,” with a rating of 3.81, while “execution process” and “media accuracy” were identified as areas for improvement.
Future Commitment
Through this initiative, the Information Systems and Informatics Study Programs remain committed to enhancing the quality of training and certification by improving technical and material aspects. The aim is for these certifications to not only add value to students as they enter the workforce but also to encourage them to innovate and contribute to the field of information technology.
