Jakarta, February 14, 2025 – The Information Systems Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) successfully participated in the Business Plan Competition (BPC) GEM 2025 organized by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia. The event was held online from January 5 to February 14, 2025, with the theme “Exploring Tech, Innovation & Artificial Intelligence.” The Brandorsement Team, consisting of Jonathan Chandra Sanjaya, Earlene Aprilie Chandra, and Catlyne Oktaviana Suwandi, was mentored by Bhustomy Hakim, S.Kom., M.Eng.
Business Plan Competition GEM 2025 is part of the Gerakan Entrepreneur Muda series aimed at fostering young entrepreneurs who are creative and innovative in the digital era. The Brandorsement Team secured the 8th position out of 146 teams with scores above 80 in all assessment criteria but did not advance to the semifinals due to the intense competition with teams scoring above 90.
Although they did not advance to the semifinals, this achievement demonstrates the ability of UBM students to develop innovative business solutions that align with current technology trends. Participation in the BPC GEM 2025 also served as an opportunity for students to hone their skills in designing Business Model Canvas, drafting business proposals, and presenting ideas professionally.
