Jakarta, March 5, 2025 – The Student Senate of the Faculty of Technology and Design (SEMA FTD) at Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) once again reaffirms its commitment to making a positive impact on society through its social service event titled “Spread the Love: Spreading Happiness at Wisma Tuna Ganda”. This event serves as a tangible manifestation of the spirit of sharing and caring for others, especially for the individuals with special needs residing at Wisma Tuna Ganda.
Located at Jl. Raya Bogor Km 28, East Jakarta, Wisma Tuna Ganda is a foster home that cares for individuals with physical and mental disabilities. In addition to providing shelter, this place serves as a space where the residents face daily life challenges. Support in the form of basic necessities, interaction, and affection from the community means a lot to them.
Despite facing limited facilities and resources, the residents of Wisma Tuna Ganda continue to live their lives with optimism. Assistance from various parties plays a crucial role in easing their burden. Therefore, social service activities like this not only provide material aid but also bring simple yet meaningful happiness.
SEMA FTD encouraged various parties to participate in fundraising efforts. The donation drive raised a total of Rp3,031,000 along with other essential items such as basic necessities (rice, sugar, milk), shoes, and decent clothing.
Through this activity, SEMA FTD hopes to ease the burden on the residents of Wisma Tuna Ganda while strengthening the bond between students and social institutions that need more attention.
SEMA FTD expresses its deepest gratitude to all donors and everyone who supported this event. Your help and participation have helped realize the spirit of sharing in this event. We hope to continue conducting similar social actions in the future to better assist those in need around us.
