On November 13-16, 2024, several students from the Tourism Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia participated in The 6th La Cuisine Competition held at Jiexpo Kemayoran. This event was attended by 5 students from the Hospitality and Tourism Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia in the following categories: Class 18: Korean Beef Main Course – Lee Kum Kee, Class 20: Asian Main Course Probiotic Chicken – Japfa, Class 13: Western Plated Dessert – Payson Breton, and Class 24: Escoffier – French Stuffed Cabbage. The results are as follows:
1. Carine Chandra (5th semester) and Styven Edricsen (3rd semester) – Korean Beef Main Course – Lee Kum Kee (SILVER)
2. Dea Fernanda (7th semester) and Jasmine Angelina Humapi (3rd semester) – Asian Main Course Probiotic Chicken – Japfa (DIPLOMA)
3. Jessica Olive Limanto (5th semester) – Escoffier – Western Plated Dessert – Payson Breton (SILVER)
4. Styven Edricsen (3rd semester) – Escoffier – French Stuffed Cabbage (BRONZE)
5. Janice Carmen Priscillia (Semester 1) – Aussie Beef & Lamb – Western Main Course Beef (DIPLOMA)
All participating students were trained by three lecturers from the Hospitality and Tourism Program: Sir Antonius Rizki Krisnadi, S.ST.Par, MM.Par., Sir Yudhiet Fajar Dewantara, S.Pd., M.Par., and Sir Prayogo Susanto, S.Par., M.Par.
In this year’s competition, Universitas Bunda Mulia achieved 3 Silver Medals, 1 Bronze Medal, and 3 Diplomas, marking progress for the students in enhancing their skills in the field of food products. This experience was extraordinary as it was an international competition judged by foreign judges.
