On Wednesday, October 23 2024, the Hospitality and Tourism study program at Bunda Mulia University carried out Community Service activities which were held at Rex Mundi Vocational School, Jakarta. This activity started at 09.00 to 12.00 WIB and was attended by students in grades 10 and 11 majoring in Usaha Layanan Wisata (ULW) and Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) with a total of 56 students.
There are two main agendas in this Community Service activity, namely the presentation of material and practice of Appetizer Demo and Mixing Drink. In this activity, several Hospitality and Tourism lecturers were involved:
- Roozana Maria Ritonga, BBA., M.Par. (Presentation of material regarding Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism)
- Feronika Berutu, S.ST.Par., M.Par. (Presentation of material regarding Sapta Pesona)
- Sofiani, S.Tr.Par., M.Par. (Presentation of material regarding Grooming)
And several students who were involved in Community Service Activities: Graciella Natasha as MC and Coordinator, Felicia Tania Chen as Operator, Stella Fiona as Documentation, Theresa Verlyn as Equipment, Richard Volta helping with Mixing Drink Demo, and Felix Jefferson and Cindy Clarissa helped with Appetizer Demo.
By holding Community Service activities, it is hoped that Rex Mundi Jakarta Vocational School students will increase their knowledge about the world of tourism and will also be able to practice it in everyday life, as well as knowing how to make Appetizers and Mixing Drinks.
