Tangerang, February 24, 2023 – As part of the Jakarta Archdiocese Catholic Church, the Catholic Student Community (KMK) serves as a forum for Catholic spiritual aspirations and activities in the Universitas Bunda Mulia campus. One of the Catholic spiritual activities recently conducted by KMK is the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Youth Prayer Fellowship (PDOMPKK). PDOMPKK is expected to bring enthusiasm and longing to each KMK member. The theme of this PDOMPKK is “Lecture vs Community”.
We chose this theme because students today face many challenges and activities that must be accepted and carried out along with the educational process, such as assignments and exams, campus activities, service, socialization, and part-time work. The presence of these activities greatly affects life balance and creates obstacles in managing time for community and time to build a relationship with God. Consequently, many people feel overloaded and feel unbalanced in their lives. However, these activities must be accepted and carried out to gain experience and knowledge useful for the future.
This PDOMPKK presented a speaker named Elvindes Kapitsa to help us understand what needs to be prioritized and how to carry it out in tandem with each responsibility we have chosen. The issue of life balance is important to find a solution so that we can overcome the problem and live in harmony by knowing how to determine priorities in life. With these solutions, it is hoped that students will have a good balance between lecture activities and community activities. During the event, all activities ran smoothly without any obstacles, and all planned events went well.
Thanks to Elvindes Kapitsa and all participants who attended the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Youth Prayer Fellowship (PDOMPKK) event. See you at the next KMK UBM Serpong event!
