akarta, October 7, 2024 – The Student Association of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program (HMP Hospar) at Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Ancol Campus successfully held the Meet and Greet HMP Hospar 2024: Pathways to Excellence – Building Bonds and Connections. This offline event, held at The UBM Master Kitchen, was designed to introduce HMP to first-semester students of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program. With the theme Pathways to Excellence, the event aimed to ignite interest among new students in joining the organization while reinforcing their engagement in the HMP regeneration process. Additionally, the seminar introduced grooming standards tailored to the increasingly competitive hospitality industry.
The event featured speaker Sir Surianto, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom., who shared insights into the importance of communication skills and presentation ethics in the hospitality world. The enthusiasm of the first-semester students was evident throughout the event. Based on evaluations, the event provided significant benefits to the participants. The majority of attendees stated that the content was highly relevant to the event’s objectives, and the media and methods used by the speaker were effective in delivering the information. The event also enriched participants’ understanding of the hospitality industry, particularly regarding practical skills that can be applied in the field.
Overall, the event successfully created an interactive atmosphere between the participants and the speaker. With this success, HMP Hospar remains committed to continually enhancing the quality of its activities and strengthening connections among students to better prepare them for challenges in the ever-evolving hospitality industry.
