Industrial Visit: PT. Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) “Industrial Visit and Capital Market School (SPM) 2”

Jakarta, November 4, 2024. On Monday, the Management Study Program Student Association, Excellent Community of Management (XCM), Ancol Campus, Universitas Bunda Mulia, organized an Industrial Visit and Capital Market School event at PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). This event aimed to broaden the knowledge and understanding of Management students about the world of investment and the capital market in Indonesia.

A total of 50 participants, including committee members and accompanying lecturers, joined this onsite activity at the PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) building. The series of activities began with registration at UBM Ancol Campus, followed by group transportation to BEI. Upon arrival, all participants visited the IDX Gallery and documented the moment with a group photo in the BEI Main Hall before proceeding to the auditorium for the material sessions.

The event opened with a welcome speech by Mr. Hendra Pamungkas Jovianto from PT Bursa Efek Indonesia, followed by remarks from Mr. Elkunny Dovir Siratan of Universitas Bunda Mulia. The first session was delivered by Mr. Hendra Pamungkas Jovianto, with the topic “Investment in the Indonesian Capital Market,” aimed at providing participants with an in-depth understanding of capital market investments. This was followed by a presentation from Mr. Muh. Rusdyanto Yunus of PT MNC Sekuritas, who explained the Motion Trade application and the procedures for opening a securities account, offering students practical insights into direct investing. The session included a Q&A segment and concluded with an interactive quiz featuring prizes from PT Bursa Efek Indonesia.

As a token of appreciation, Universitas Bunda Mulia, represented by Mr. Elkunny Dovir Siratan, presented Tokens of Appreciation (TOA) to the two speakers, Mr. Hendra Pamungkas Jovianto and Mr. Muh. Rusdyanto Yunus. Following the presentations, participants continued with a tour of BEI, visiting the IDX Gallery, guided by Mr. Hendra Pamungkas Jovianto, who provided detailed information about the facilities available in the gallery.

The event concluded with a final group photo session inside the BEI building before participants returned to Universitas Bunda Mulia. It is hoped that this activity will help students apply the knowledge they have gained and expand their understanding of the capital market and investment in Indonesia, thereby enhancing their skills and insights for future endeavors.
