On Saturday, January 25, 2025, the Management Study Program of Bunda Mulia University held a general lecture moderated by Mr. Very Budiyanto, S.M., M.SE, and supported by five active second-semester students from the Management Study Program, who are members of the Excellent Community Management (XCM).
This onsite general lecture focused on the topic of “digital marketing,” entitled The Role of Social Media in Brand Success. Marketing is one of the most important aspects in the business world. In today’s digital era, technological advancements have changed the way companies interact with customers, market products, and plan and implement marketing strategies.
The guest lecture started at 5:45 PM and was introduced by Mr. Very Budiyanto, S.M., M.SE, as the moderator. The event began with the Indonesian National Anthem, followed by the UBM March, a welcome speech by Mrs. Sophia Reni Susilo, the Secretary of the Management Study Program at Bunda Mulia Ancol University, and the reading of the CV of the guest speaker, Mr. Matthew Adrian, the Chief Marketing Officer of Fore Coffee, who presented material on digital marketing. The presentation of digital marketing material is very important for the Management Study Program at Bunda Mulia University, due to the significance of adaptive marketing management and how to design and implement effective marketing strategies in the modern digital business world.
Mr. Matthew Adrian, as the Chief Marketing Officer of Fore Coffee, presented an overview of data, graphs, and tables related to digital marketing trends in Indonesia, which described people’s behavior and preferences regarding the use of digital marketing.
Following that, Mr. Very invited all participants of the guest lecture to a Q&A session, where there were six very interesting and valid questions related to digital marketing, which were answered comprehensively by Mr. Matthew Adrian, the guest speaker.
Thus, this event significantly contributed to all participants in the development of the digital marketing world in today’s business environment.
