Jakarta, April 9, 2025 — In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan 1446 H, the Islamic Spiritual Activity Unit (IKAMI) of Bunda Mulia University, Ancol Campus, in collaboration with the Student Senate of the Faculty of Social and Humanities (SEMA FISH), organized a series of Ramadan activities including: Distributing Iftar Meals, Breaking the Fast Together, and Giving Donations to Orphans at Al Mukarromah Orphanage in Kampung Bandan. These activities were held as a way to share kindness and embody the true spirit of togetherness during this blessed month.
The first event, distributing iftar meals, took place on March 21, 2025. A total of 200 iftar meal boxes were distributed directly to people around Bunda Mulia University Ancol Campus just before the time to break the fast.
Then, on March 26, 2025, IKAMI and SEMA FISH continued the Ramadan series by holding a Breaking the Fast Together and Donation Giving event, inviting children from Al Mukarromah Orphanage in Kampung Bandan. This event was also attended by Prof. Dr. Danial Thaib, S.E., M.M., a Professor at Bunda Mulia University, who delivered a heartwarming and inspiring Ramadan sermon before the breaking of the fast. The event was filled with warmth — from joint prayers, fun games, and donation distribution, to the iftar moment shared with the Bunda Mulia University Ancol academic community.
We from IKAMI and SEMA FISH would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the donors and the Student Affairs Team of Bunda Mulia University who supported and helped make this event a success. Without you, this event wouldn’t have been possible. May all our efforts become good deeds and bring blessings to everyone involved. We hope that in the next Ramadan, we can organize even better, more festive, and more meaningful activities.
