Tangerang, April 25th, 2025 – The Sports and Health Student Activity Unit of Universitas Bunda Mulia, Serpong Campus, successfully organized a sports workshop aimed at all students of Universitas Bunda Mulia Serpong Campus and external students. There was a total of 150 internal participants and 5 external participants, along with 5 media partners attending this workshop. The event was held on Friday, April 25th, 2025 at The UBM Sport Hall, 11th Floor, UBM Tower with the theme “Empowering Mind and Body: Role of Sport in Mental Well-Being,” which broadly discussed how sports influence an individual’s mental health.
The event was opened by the Master of Ceremonies (MC), who welcomed all participants, followed by reading out the rules of the event. Afterwards, all participants sang the Indonesian national anthem “Indonesia Raya” and the UBM Anthem.
Image 2: Opening Remarks, Material Presentation, and Best Question Reward
Fernando Hendrix Davinci Gunawan, as the head of the organizing committee event, delivered the opening remarks to all attendees. This was followed by a material presentation by Mr. Paulus Agustinus A. Sawu, an experienced figure in the field of sports. His presentation discussed the crucial role of sports for individuals in maintaining mental health. Beyond delivering the material, the speaker also answered several questions from participants who wanted to delve deeper into the topic of sports.
Image 3: BIEFINDC Performance and Workout Session
After the material presentation and Q&A session, there was an impressive performance by the UBM Dance Student Activity Unit (BIEFINDC), which further energized all participants. The workshop also featured a joint workout session. The speaker guided participants through easy exercises that could be done at home, such as the cobra stretch, squat thrusts, and others.
Image 4: Token of Appreciation and Taekwondo Performance
After an energizing workout session, the Student Affairs team honored Mr. Paulus Agustinus A. Sawu with a Token of Appreciation. To cap off the event, the audience was treated to stellar performances by the Taekwondo Student Activity Unit.

Hopefully with this workshop, stands as a reminder that true strength lies in the harmony of mind and body. We hope that today’s experience inspires every participant and committee to continue embracing sports as a pathway to mental resilience and physical vitality.
