Jakarta, 19 March 2024 – The Student Senate of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Faculty of Technology and Design of Bunda Mulia University have organized an international webinar. It was held online via the Zoom platform with the theme “Amplify Your Voice: Mastering Public Speaking for Gen Z” with Gina Karlin, an English Language Fellow from the Regional English Language Office (RELO) of the United States Embassy, as the speaker for the webinar.
This webinar was attended by Bunda Mulia University students and also participants from abroad, such as Malaysia, Taiwan, Germany, and the United States. The extensive attendance indicated both the high interest in the topics that were discussed and the significant need, particularly for Generation Z, to improve public speaking abilities.
During the session, Gina Karlin provided deep and practical insight about the effective techniques that can be used in public speaking. Participants were provided with valuable guidance to increase their self-confidence and communication skills, so they could convey the information clearly and effectively to the audience.
